Our Visit to the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center

Our second mini trip of the summer was a quick flight to Corpus Christi!

We rented a car (and carseat) via Hertz Rent-A-Car and we were off to the Spring Hill Inn and Suites in Corpus. The main day of our mini trip, we decided to visit the Texas State Aquarium later in the day and we had a FREE morning! So, we decided to visit the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.

A few weeks ago, I discovered a VERY cheap airline fare on American Airlines from DFW Airport to Corpus Christi, TX. Each ticket (my self, my husband, and baby girl) averaged $130 per person. Our family is too excited about the Springhill Suites branch of the #Marriott family! We have been avid fans of the Springhill Suites brand since our visit to the San Antonio Airport Springhill Suites hotel a few years ago. The hotel was trendy, excellent, AND featured free breakfast!

November 16th - Fort Worth West 7th Street Parade and Festival

Make plans to attend the upcoming celebration of the "7th Wonder of Fort Worth", the 7th Street Bridge! This event is FREE on November 16th from 10-2pm and everyone is welcome! 

Here's the neat aspect! - There are several events during the festival that are KID friendly! These events include the Fort Worth HERD experience (every toddler loves cows) and the classic car display! Nice!
