The Weekends Count Family
Drs. Jennifer and Tony Edwards are two busy, working millennial parents located in the Fort Worth, TX area. Professors by day and parents by night, these two had to create a neat way to keep themselves accountable for spending the weekday nights and weekends with their toddler count!
Realizing how important supplemental educational activities can have on a toddler's development, they became dedicated to developing a curriculum for their toddler's weekends. Many of these weekends involve family travel to DFW, San Antonio, East Texas, and Houston, but other weekends simply involve an in-depth trip to Kroger, Aldi, or HEB in their hometown with an emphasis on identifying unique fruits, vegetables, and meeting neighbors.

Our Travel Interests - Texas and Beyond
A few times per year, the family plans short-term (mostly 24 hour) trips outside of the state for a weekend in Florida, Oklahoma City, Minneapolis, Denver, Louisiana, and other states! Upcoming trips include California, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Suggestions are appreciated!
We are especially interested in millennial travel, budget travel, rewards programs, short-term travel, cruises for families, multi-generational travel, and STAYCATIONS in Texas!
Our Travel Product and Healthy Product Review Interests
We are also interested in reviewing items that make toddler and millenial travel easier (healthy travel snacks (gluten free and others), TSA compliant products (travel-sized products, green products, etc.)). Suggestions are much appreciated.
Our Weekend Staycation Interests
We plan a wealth of weekend activities and weeknight activities that involve gardening (indoor and outdoor), painting, making healthy food, and visiting downtown areas in Texas!
