Learning About World History and Cultures at Disney Parks!

Walt Disney World is a great place to learn about world history and cultures.  Whether you're a homeschool parent or just looking for fun ways to teach your child on vacation, here are a few examples as you plan your Disney vacation!





World Showcase - EPCOT - Mexico


In this section of World Showcase, you can eat at a cantina, go inside a pyramid, meet Donald, and take the Gran Fiesta tour!




At the Kidcot Fun Stops, kids can pick up a "passport" and get it stamped as they visit the different countries of the World Showcase.





You can also take a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros!









World Showcase - EPCOT - Norway

These structures will make you feel like you are with Anna and Elsa in Frozen!


World Showcase - EPCOT - China

In addition to the amazing structures, you can also meet Mulan in China!




World Showcase - EPCOT - Germany

You can meet Snow White and try German food in Germany!





World Showcase - EPCOT - Japan

In addition to these impressive structures, don't forget to check out the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Japan.

You can try Moroccan food, listen and dance to Moroccan food, and meet Aladdin and Jasmine here!

You can try French food, listen to French music, and meet Princess Aurora in France.

In addition to sightseeing, you can meet Alice, Mary Poppins, and Winnie the Pooh in the United Kingdom.

This section of the world showcase features a 360 degree film about Canada.


FantasyLand - Magic Kingdom - It's a Small World

In addition to being a fun ride for kids, It's a Small World is a great way to expose young children to different countries and cultures.
