Our Visit to Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine, Texas!

If you are like us, your kids love to learn about the creatures of the sea.  If that's the case, you should definitely visit the 5000+ sea creatures at the Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine, Texas! There are are many different sections of the aquarium. There are also many opportunities to integrate the visit into a homeschool unit about biological science.

Sea Life Aquarium is open 7 days a week. You can buy your tickets online or at the door.  If you don't want to wait, then you should consider buying tickets online and getting a set check-in time.

Your kids will receive a passport that will help them identify the animals they see in the aquarium and collect stamps to commemorate their experience!

The aquarium features a stingray tank where you can watch them swim in circles.

There are stations that help your kids learn more about the organisms in the aquarium, like these stations about turtles.

Our daughter loves to look at all the different fish.

There is a tube you can walk through and watch the fish swim above you!

There is a touch tank where kids and parents can put their hands in the water and touch the animals!

Kids can even get a perspective from inside a fish tank!

What's your favorite part of visiting an aquarium? What should we do the next time we visit?
